Vitamin A is one of the most celebrated ingredients in skincare, and for good reason. It’s considered the gold standard when it comes to preventing and reversing the visible signs of ageing. But what many people don’t realise is that there are different forms of Vitamin A used in skincare and not all of them are created equal. Unlike retinol (the more common version you’ll see on ingredient lists) retinaldehyde requires just one conversion step in the skin to become retinoic acid... the active form of vitamin A that actually stimulates change within the cells. HOW TO USE
*Always thoroughly shake this product before each use.
1. After cleansing in the evening, dispense 1 pump of Reverse onto your fingertips.
2. Massage over your face and neck, all the way to your hairline, avoiding eyes, lips and any cuts or abrasions.
3. Follow with the remainder of your Skin Cosmeceuticals serums and moisturiser. 4. Always remember to wear a broad spectrum sunscreen throughout the day.
SKIN TIP
• For sensitive skin, introduce Reverse every 2-3 nights for the first 2-4 weeks. If your skin doesn’t feel irritated or dry you can slowly increase usage to every evening.
• For oily, thickened, congested skin types, we recommend Rebalance.
